Common questions
How do I save a post?
In Instagram, tap the paper plane (Share) on a post or reel, then pick Recoteca. If Recoteca isn't in the list, scroll to the end of the app row, tap More and turn it on.
Recoteca didn't find the titles in a post
Some posts don't name their titles clearly. Open the save on Home and tap Retry, or add the title yourself with Add a title. Titles are found with Muse AI, which is on unless you turned it off in Settings → Privacy.
Can I save TikTok or X posts?
Not yet. Recoteca works with Instagram posts and reels for now.
Do I need an account?
No. Your list works on your iPhone without one. Signing in with Apple or Google backs it up, keeps it the same on every iPhone you sign in on, and lets you use shared lists and follow creators' lists.
How do I delete my account?
Open Profile (top right of Home) and tap Delete account. The account and its backed-up list are deleted from our server straight away.
How do I join a list someone shared?
Open their invite link on your iPhone, or open Recoteca → Lists → Join with a code and type the code from the invite.
How do I turn off usage statistics?
Settings → Privacy → Share usage statistics. See the privacy policy for what's collected.
I'm a creator. How do I see my numbers?
Sign in, then link your Instagram Creator or Business account in Profile. The Creator tab appears once Recoteca has found recommendations in your posts.
